Jonathan Schofield

Jonathan Schofield BDS DPDS MFGDP UK graduated from Bristol University in 1986. He has over thirteen years of experience in the field of Dental Implantology. His training has been in the UK, Switzerland and Germany. His particular interests are implants in the cosmetic zone - making implants imperceptible from natural teeth. Jonathan lectures throughout the UK and internationally on dental implant matters. He is a part-time lecturer at Bristol university and a Fellow of the International Team of Implantologists (ITI) which is a group of academics and clinicians who are dedicated to research and teaching in implantology. Until 2007 he sat on the national committee of the A.D.I. (Association of Dental Implantology) and he is now the South West area representative for them.

Christopher Lambert-Rose

Christopher Lambert-Rose BSc BDS DPDS MFGDP UK graduated from Bristol University in 1990. He subsequently worked in General Practice in the Bristol area and has extensive experience in private dentistry. In 2004 he completed training in advanced restorative dentistry and since then has undertaken numerous complex restorative and smile design cases. He also has a special interest in endodontics and conscious sedation. He is a full member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and has membership of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the British Endodontic Society, the Dental Sedation Teachers Group and the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners at the Royal College of Surgeons.

Michael Attenborough

Michael Attenborough BDS U Lond LDS RCS (Eng) MFGDP UK graduated from Guys Dental Hospital in 1977. Since then he has been in General Practice and part time hospital practice. He held a post in The Oral Surgery Department of The Royal United Hospital, Bath since 1989 and was a Staff grade in the Oral Surgery Department between 1998 and 2001. He currently holds a GDP- post in Orthodontics. Michael is also Vocational Training Adviser for the Wessex Region. This post entails organising the continuing education of Vocational trainee dentists in their first year post qualification. He is also an examiner for The faculty of General Dental Practitioners MFGDP. Michael's interests are in oral surgery and conscious sedation.

Tony Ireland

Tony Ireland PhD, MSc, BDS, FDS, D.Orth, M.Orth RCS (Eng) graduated from Guys Dental Hospital in 1982 and returned there in 1985 to do his specialist training in orthodontics, qualifying as a specialist in 1988. A further 3 years of postgraduate orthodontic training as a Senior Registrar enabled him to become a Consultant in Orthodontics in 1992, when he came to Bath. Tony teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate dental students in orthodontics and lectures widely. He is past Chairman of the Developments and Standards committee of the British Orthodontic Society and is the Principal UK expert in orthodontic materials on three International Standards Organisation committees. He is co-author of 2 orthodontic textbooks and has published over 50 articles on orthodontics and related dental subjects in national and international journals.

Tim Harris

Timothy Harris BDS MFDS RCS (Eng) graduated from Bristol University in 2002 and has since worked in the South West region and in New Zealand. Tim has extensive post-graduate training, including teaching, in oral surgery and implantology. Tim also works in Bristol and Somerset teaching undergraduates and performing oral surgery in hospital. Qualified to offer sedation, he enjoys treating nervous and anxious patients. Tim is currently completing an MsC in Dental Implantology at Bristol University and obtained his membership to the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2005. He is a member of the International Team for Implantology, the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD) and the British Dental Association.

Yeow-Chong Lim

Yeow-Chong Lim BDS, MSc, GDC(UK) registered Specialist Periodontist has been receiving referrals for periodontal and implant treatment since 1993, providing advanced regenerative and implant therapy, such as GTR, GBR and sinus grafting. Starting out in his homeland of Singapore, private referrals continued for the next 7 years in Harley Street, London and now in the leafy surburbia of South London. Chong continues to collaborate with a group of like-minded restorative dentists in providing ethical and premium dental services. Always a keen student, Chong has maintained a continuous involvment in national and international conferences in the last 20 years. Moving into middle age, he is gradually adapting to the role of a periodontal and implant educator and is entering the final stages of an another MSc, with the University of Bristol and will be reporting on research of sinus bone grafting. Chong retains a keen interest in regenerative procedures for teeth and implants.
